From Finland, people go to the Canary Islands, Crete, Turkey... Most of the Mediterranean, actually. Divers often prefer the Red Sea, and go to Hurghada in Egypt or Eilat in Israel.

In the winter, at least the Canaries are still warm enough to feel like summer in Finland; the United Arabic Emirates have also become noticeably popular in recent years. And Thailand is of course one of the main destinations.
