How many locals in Istanbul shop at the Grand Bazaar? Is it more of a place for tourists? Also, is anyone watching the filming taking place? If so, how does it look?

Many locals do shop there for jewlery. I was there last Friday for lunch, fun place to be, and a good place to shop for locals and tourists.
