I have traveled through Spain a fair bit.I would recommend train travel from Barcelona to Madrid. You can travel on The AVE[High Speed}train.The journey takes around 2hrs45mins aprox if you go by plane you need to be at the airport 1hr before hand to check in so it kind of evens out.To me it is less hassle on the train.You will expect to pay around 130 euro's but if you book online i am sure you will get better deals. When I travelled from Madrid to Barcelona, I took to the air. It was such a hassle and it didn't have any of the sights that a train would have allowed. Land travel, definitely the way to go.

deberian coger el AVE, es un tren de alta velocidad. Irán desde el centro de barcelona al centro de madrid en 2 horas. el billete vale lo mismo que el avión pero es mas cómodo, menos espera y mas bonito.
