Harnu is a site that seeks to create a new level of global discourse online. It allows you to send messages or questions anywhere in the world, and translates your messages and the replies you receive into users' preferred languages.

To get started using it, I'd suggest one of two things. If you have something you've always wanted to ask or know about another part of the world - culture, current events, music, etc. - then compose a new message and send it to that place. Or, if you have a unique perspective about South Africa you'd like to share, send it as a message to your own country, and the rest of the world will discover it.
