Perhaps but also you may just be curious about a place and want to get an opinion from someone that lives there - a perspective that's not always apparent in the news that you read. Here, you can read news, listen to music, find handmade products from around the world, or just chat by clicking on the icons above the map.

You can then direct a message to somewhere in the world to learn more and start a discussion with someone who lives there. Oh, and everyone can communicate in their own language with Harnu handling all the automatic translation.

As an example, I've personally learned a good bit about Indonesia recently just by chatting with locals there - them writing in Indonesian and me in English.

Also worth mentioning that, by using the application buttons in the gray bar at the top, you can browse news, listen to music, or shop for goods from merchants in their home countries.
