Hi Kirsten, saw your post about Singapore importing foreign athletes as a way to boost medals. Pardon my ignorance but what does FT mean - foreign transplants? How do regular Singaporeans feel about that? I've seen the same phenomenon too with various UK athletes. Brits call them Plastic Brits. I honestly don't think too many people care. Some traditionalists complain when they don't sing the national anthem but that's about it.
