What is a "must try" restaurants where the locals eat in Paris and what are dishes you would recommend?

Hey sooji. I was living there this past summer and I realized Parisians love to go to the local Cafes. I know it sounds cliche, but the big restaurant names are expensive and oriented to tourists, whether the local cafes serve the local people.

Try pretty much anything on the "Menu du Jour" which is the "Daily Menu". The chef usually creates dishes using what is fresh. Bon Appetit

I seriously recommend a Crêperie called PEN-TY. It's basically just crêpes. Fantastic crêpes! You'll find it on this address: 65 Rue de Douai 75009 Paris France‎ T. +33 1 48 74 18 49
