Is there the train / metro that goes from the Airport to Downtown Seattle operational?
Yes. Check out this attached link. People here use it a fair amount, especially from the south side, and easy trips to/from the Airport! (takes about 20mins from downtown Seattle).
Yes, the Central Link Light Rail, by Sound Transit is running now. Here is their website http://www.soundtransit.org/Schedules/Central-Link-light-rail.xml
i think so.
Yes. It's called the Link LightRail and it connects SeaTac airport to downtown. It runs frequently throughout the day and it takes about 20min. The city is planning more stops to extend further north.
Yes, it works great but if you have kids, a lot of luggage, or a disability, its a little inconvenient getting from the airport to the train - down one long concrete corridor. I amost always use it. The other cool thing is that it takes you into a heart of Seattle you don't see from the freeway: traveling through Ethiopian, Vietnamese (Global South) communities.
Hi, Armando. Yes, the Sounder light rail connects downtown Seattle with the airport.
Yes - the Light Rail. It's quite nice and it runs regularly. It takes a while, because it stops at many points along the way into town. But once it's in the city, you can get off in the International District, Pioneer Square, or beneath Nordstrom.
You take the light rail or a metro bus from the airport to downtown Seattle. Click the link to find the light rail or bus that you need.

It is super easy and convenient for downtown.
if you're rolling with a smartphone and will be traveling by bus, download the app "one bus away" which is free. it gives users real-time bus arrival/departures with an easy-to-use interface that has a great search and map features.
