I am a law student in Seattle taking a course on international law and we talked about the Arab Spring last week. I really desired the perspective of someone from the Egypt in class. There were two critiques 1) that the vision of the revolution will be lost due to regional economics because Egypt has not developed its private sector and 2) Saudi Arabia, because of its wealth, oil and U.S. connections, will stifle further revolutions. I appologize for my overall ignorance in these matters and would appreciate your perspective. More importantly, what can we do, as Americans, to support the people of Egypt?
