A quick couple of questions about Russian politics...

Your country is huge! It must be very hard to administer such a large amount of land. How does your government manage? Are your taxes very high? Or is it different for different states in the Federation?

Also, just in theory, can any country join the Russian Federation? Are there certain requirements a country has to meet, before it can join? Would the existing member states have to take a vote?
