Hello, Argentina.

I want to ask: how friendly is your country to visitors from the United Kingdom? I know that our two nations have fought each other in the past, but I find Argentina to be a fascinating and beautiful place. Your people are Europeans, your cities are cosmopolitan, your wine is superb. You have art, opera and excellent universities. Furthermore, I enjoy reading about Argentine politics, and the legacy of Juan Perón. I would love to visit one day, and tour around the cities and countryside; but I am concerned that the history of conflict between our two countries would make my trip an unpleasant one.

Most likely won't be a problem. I find the main conflict to be with the UK's government, not people. I've never heard anyone complaining about British people in here. The worst you can get is a bad comment from old people, but it is unlikely. In fact we often react to European visitors as "exotic" and desirable.

I have to warn you however, that it is better if you don't make any comments about Perón. Society is very polarised in regards to him and his ideologies, so it will most likely end up in a fight.

You'll be just fine! We get a lot of people from other countries and we get along very well!
