everyone....what do you think is the best thing about your country, and what is the worst? For me in the USA the best is the general day-to-day friendliness of most people, they are open and curious and helpful. The worst is our crazy political system...money rules everything! They use social issues to inflame and divide the populace, while accomplishing nothing of importance.

It s been a while me and a friend of mine have been searching for a place to move to. along our search we discovered how sad the world has became. u discover a cool place the next thing u start reading about the country politics and u just get disappointed. It would be nice to find a place that has both nice people, nice environment and a system that is just and fair ! I am from lebanon, it was such a nice place 10 years ago even with the security situation people were amazing and living here was extremely fun ....the weather ,the nature , the life style.. but things has changed drastically over the last few years

I think the best thing about the USA for me is how different cultures have combined and made it a culture for all people.

I definitely like the access we have to things like fresh food and potable water and the ability to walk outside with no worries of war or being attacked (depending on where you are living of course-I live in Wyoming so the if I get attacked it will be by something like an Antelope or a stray cow***being ridiculous ) Of course many other places in the world are safe as well as long as you understand the basics of their culture. People are friendly here in Wyoming, but there is that American sense of separation, I noticed the difference when I made a friend from Canada and they would walk right in and stay for long periods of time without calling or knocking lol. Their personal bubbles are much smaller, and a friend from Bangladesh that stopped by everyday and chatted for upwards of an hour, often bringing food and insisting I eat. In America I think we like to put up a wall of formalities between ourselves and our friends and neighbors, even my parent call before stopping by. I don't think it would be hard for me to let go of this cultural concept. I am learning Spanish so that I can buy a house in Mexico someday, people say it is dangerous but I think that part of that is American media likes to make us afraid of everything that isn't American. The Expats that live there have told me it's no more dangerous than anywhere else , you have to know the area- like you wouldn't want to live in a dangerous neighborhood of LA, you use the same common sense in any other country. The one thing I get tired of is our inflated sense of self importance, there are some extremely Ethnocentric people here- saying English is the only language, Only Americans should be in America (forgot that we are all immigrants I guess, unless you are an Native American) and blah blah blah- it is ignorant and I hate my beautiful vibrant country being represented by idiots who say those things.
