Yes, Obama is going to win. We have too many people in this country that care about democracy who will vote. But due to new restrictions on Voting (for example, requiring citizens to have a driver's license in order to vote when 25% of all Black Americans as well as many people living in urban areas do not own cars or have driver's licenses), it will be a very interesting election that I hope all democracies will pay attention to.

Obama will definitely win. The press will make it sound like a tight race all through the campaign so people will pay attention, and so they can they portray Obama as the "comeback kid" when he actually does win. The coverage here is entirely about driving advertising sales.

What is the coverage like in Poland? What does your press say will happen? Does anyone care?

Obama for sure

Hopefully. A lot will depend on the economy. For a couple of months most of the economic projections were looking better, but the recovery is looking less clear. This will hurt Obama.

What is your opinion?

I think that Obama will win. However, many people believe that he has had a disappointing term in office. Yet still his opponent Mitt Romney is seen as a relatively weak candidate. Considering Obama's largely popular foreign policy record, and now that the economy is improving I think that he should be able to win a re-election in 2012.

It's looking more and more like an Obama victory. I agree with those above who say that it won't really be that close. Even if it was, the economy seems to be turning upward slightly, just at the right time.
