If a friend from out of town was going to visit you for one day, what places would you take them?

I currently live in Seattle and absolutely love our city. Even though it rains a lot, it's hard to beat the beauty of seeing blue water and green vegetation everywhere. So, I would take them on a drive from Madison Park to Seward Park (https://goo.gl/maps/QdhDI) http://instagram.com/p/i16L6SJnzE/

I'd go to my favorite coffee shop at the moment - Storyville coffee, which has great french press and a perfect view of Pike Place Market and the Puget Sound. http://worldc.am/id/52251f9511d2b2f238901956

I'd get a cuban sandwich at Paseo's (http://worldc.am/id/49beb836f964a520cf541fe3) and then eat it at Gas Works Park (http://worldc.am/id/430bb880f964a5203a271fe3)

To finish up the day, I'd probably head down to my current pub of choice, Bellevue Brewing Company, and catch up on life over some delicious local IPA.

What about you?

Yay!

I live near Seattle & I've had Paseo on my list far too long now...need to give this place a try after reading about their delicious sandwiches on Yelp and now reading about it on Harnu too =D

As for me, I'd take a friend to the Des Moines Waterfront, Kubota Garden in Rainier or the Botanical Gardens in Bellevue (love the Suspension Bridge there), catch a ferry ride to Bainbridge Island, Chihuly Garden & Glass, love Point Defiance Park & Gardens in Tacoma, Seahurst Park & of course the Space Needle Observation Deck for a spectacular view of Seattle, etc... can't fit it all in just one day...so I'd prefer a friend visit more than just a day! =D
