For free satellite, just install a dish and get a set top box which can process the signal. You'll get most of Italy's terrestrial normal TV channels and plenty more from around the world. I'm in Milan and we have over 3000 channels from around the world. Re internet, ask around to find out which ADSL provider reaches your location. There may be a local wimax service and this can be a good alternative - if it is available. Telecom Italia is probably in the area and may provide ADSL. Try Linkem too - supposed to do WiFi web in rural areas.

Beware of internet USB keys - they can be expensive, reception poor and data limits low too.
