Whats the most interesting country you have visited and why?
Probably my own, come to think of it. I'd really like to see more of the world though. How about you?
I've only been to America (where I live) and Mexico. So I guess Mexico; and probably because all the colors are just so bright and the people seem to genuinely care about you, unlike in parts of America.
Interesting responses. I've travelled to a few countries, and I would say Japan. Tokyo is quite different to what I have experienced in Western Culture!
What makes tokyo different?
Never encountered a city with so many vending machines; seems to be one on each street! :P. Many aspects make Tokyo different; the kind of food they eat; their entertainment; their culture and how people socialise. It has an area called Akihabara Electric Town, which is a massive shopping area for electronic goods, anime and games. They have buildings just for arcade machines which can be up to 7 stories tall! Plenty of temples and shrines to see as well. Hard to mention everything about it but thats some facts about it!
UK.
Seychelles, friendly people, stable location, perfect weather, good food, probably the best beaches in the world. I really liked the way the people think, though I am not believing in god or any religion, the people made me believe that virgin Mary is their guardian angel. It's hard to decribe ...
Buuut... If you like art, visit the Barbara Jenson studio on La Digue, it's small but really worth it.
Thanks for sharing your experience Elene. I would not have not thought to check out Seychelles. When did you go?
Yeah - whoa - I had never heard of the Seychelles before. Thanks!
Israel. - It is an amazing country with incredible landscape views and a great number of intelligent people.
Uruguay. I loved Montevideo! It was beautiful and the cars, clothing, and architecture made me feel I had stepped back in time 70 years.
