In short: the cheap prices for food, booze and flats; it's abundancy of clubs, museums, bars, pubs, galleries, ... you name it. It's got all the perks of a capital and a cosmopolitan city while at the same time being relatively cheap. And the more musicians and artists move to Berlin the more interesting and vibrant the already existing cultural scene becomes. It should be said though that Berlin is getting more and more expensive and that Berliners are having troubles keeping up with rising costs and the changing identity of their home town.

Thank you Juda for that wonderful insight. As a music lover, I am very anxious to see what beautiful music will be coming out of Berlin in the next few years. Cheers to great music mate!
