Hi all, I am new to this site and thought it looked interesting. I am a graduate student and I plan on doing some travel and study abroad in the future. Sweden, Japan and France are of particular to me due to my studies in health care. As an American (and a tax payer!) I have a great interest in what other countries are doing in the health care arena. Please share your stories, thoughts and processes!
Never been to any of those places, but what compels you to go to exactly those countries?
according to all research have read (of which I have exhausted many many sources), these three countries have the lowest cost per capita and the highest ranked health care in the world as far as infection rates, mortality, research and development and quality outcome indicators. They are also ALL a hybrid form of individual contributions/government subsidized plans.
