Harnu is a concatenation of two Swedish words - "här" meaning here and "nu" meaning now. You can read more about us here: www.harnu.com/about There are hashtags - try it for yourself #hello #photo #culture etc. There are mentions - try it out @markwilson :-) Oh and to see people's posts, you can go to www.harnu.com/markwilson for example.

It's still just a few of us so hope you'll forgive us a bit if things still seem like they're a bit of a work in progress - because they are. I think you'll find though that the people here are genuinely interested in learning about the world and sharing a bit about theirs, so it makes for some good quality discussions.
