I am hoping that this will be the push needed for the troubled region to bring a truthful peace between Israelis and Palestinians. But this can not be achieved as long as we have a strongly unified support for Israel worldwide and never dare to question their wrong doings. The same goes for Hamas and the Arab worlds.

I would agree with you faab64. It's almost like if you question Israeli actions at all you are may as well be denying the holocaust, which is crazy. I have a good friend of 40 years who comes from a Palestinian decent, he put it this way to me yesterday, "As far as the Middle East goes, my beliefs have not changed much if at all. When you view the issues as one view a large man beating up a smaller man, the focal point becomes pretty clear; you address the issue with the larger man even if the smaller man started the fight… I am always deeply saddened by news of what is going on in Palestine/Israel. Both peoples belong there, and both are at fault for what is going on! And the solution is to find a path to the level of peace Americans enjoy here in the US." The press here in the states at least are so strongly behind Israel. I also lean in that direction, but I don't see peace coming along that road. There is a disconnect, at least in my sources of information.

It sounds a little bit awkward to hear that from an Israeli. Glad to hear it though.

@Odinia you are misinformed about the holocaust that my grandparents, their families, millions of other Jews, Romani, political dissidents, homosexuals, POWs and other innocent people suffered. The claims made in the links you posted have been and continue to be addressed and proven false. Try actually looking into it. It's important that you do because, although it makes no sense to jail people for their opinions, lies can hurt people. My 'tribe', like every other tribe, includes criminals, but that does not justify hatred against all of us.

It is not important if the holocaust was fake or true it s in the past now , history have been faked and made to measure. the most important now is the history that is being written now and it is a very shameful one apparently we haven't learned anything. meanwhile the innocents will be always the victims :(. i am sorry i have no empathy for soldiers only for civilians.
