If you could fall asleep and wake up anywhere in the world and spend one day there...where would you go?

I'm going to go with Bora Bora, French Polynesia. I had a chance to spend a couple weeks there a few years ago, and it's unreal.

This is a tough one but I think it would be Las Leñas in Argentina. I was fortunate enough to ski there in 2001, and it's definitely as place I intend to return to with my kids when they're older.

I would recommend visiting all the small towns and villages around Lake Geneva both on the Swiss and the French site. You could drive around the lake in a few hours but what i would recommend is to stop by in these towns, enjoy the scenery, food, wine, and the cutest B&B places.

I've had a bit of a gnawing to visit Italy for some time. Perhaps I would wake up in Rome.

One day?

Notwithstanding that I fell asleep once on an Air New Zealand flight to Auckland and have no intention of leaving NZ, if it were just for one day, and if I could only see it once, it would have to be somewhere like the Ngorogoro Crater in Tanzania.

There are lots of places I would like to visit. I want to go somewhere that isn't too hot, like Iceland. Japan would be great too. But actually the place I want to visit most is Belize. I've already been there, but I really enjoyed it, and I definitely want to go back some time.

I would wake up somewhere no one has been to before so then I can say I left my footprint in a place that's been un-touched (if there is such a place)...

Kamakura, Japan. The coast south of Tokyo (1 hour train) is one of the best escapes from the hectic pace of the city. If there wasn't the risk of a huge tsunami I would build a house here in a heartbeat.

Anywhere Justin Bieber isn't going to be is my first criteria. Secondly, there needs to be a runway for my private jet. Cayman Islands perhaps.

In Australia I can recommend Kakadu National Park and of course the beautiful Pilbara if you're after a beautiful sunset.

Africa. I've always wanted to be in an area where I wouldn't stand out. Guess being an American I still would a tad bit. Plus, there's thousands of miles of trails. It's got to be the best place on Earth for adventures.

Probably Jerusalem and the surrounding area. Not only does area hold religious significance, it's also fascinating in terms of culture, politics, language and so on.
