Hello! Fishing in Estonia - kind of specific - we do not have much fish, for big fish and huge quantity we go to Finland or Norway, but fishing in Estonia in that reason is even more art: early spring, after ice gone, spring roach in rivers angling - we dry that - goood with beer; spring salmon and trout in sea - waders / spinning; late spring - pike in lakes, sea; spring-summer - river-trout - spinning; summer - pike and pike-perch in Emajõgi river - jig; summer - pike-perch in Pärnu bay - trolling; late summer, autumn - perch in Peipus lake spinning - a type of jigging; autumn - salmon, trout in sea - waders, spinning; winter - perch in lakes and some sea bays - specific ice fishing - mormyshka, winter lures & combinations of winter lures and flies ...

That is so cool! I've always wanted to go fishing for pike. There is pike fishing in the US in places like Minnesota, and up in Canada, but not here in Washington. I grew up salt-water fishing in Puget Sound (salmon, rockfish, flounder, cod), and catching (very small) trout in the lakes and rivers nearby.

Sadly, in the last couple of decades Puget Sound has been badly overfished, and is closed for almost everything now. Too many people; too much pressure.
