I don't think I've ever heard of "digital painting." What kinds of applications are you using to do that? Can you send a picture of one of your projects?

Ah, it's just painting done with a computer application such as Photoshop, Corel Painter, Paint Tool SAI, Artrage, MyPaint, etc. You can do cell-shading, or the simulation of traditional media using these applications. :) You can view some of my works at http://rinku726.deviantart.com/gallery/

@Dundonian Thanks you Yes, I do try to do a couple ones when I get the time. Quite busy lately with thesis and internship, so I have them out of the way first! Hopefully soon. :)

@Brent Thank you so much! I did most of them with SAI, then post-processing with Photoshop. Corel is very robust and great, but I just got used to working with the earlier two. :)
