What is the trend in Greece regarding Golden Dawn in the eyes of the average person? I don't speak Greek and all I get is through the media, but I want to know, how likely it is that they could take power (given how alarmingly they seem to be mirroring the fascist movements of the early 20th century?

There is a great increase of the extreme parties in general (Golden dawn (far right), anarchists (far left)) and anything that steers of the traditional political system. 95% of the voters of those parties, if they had a legitimate alternative, they would have taken it. It is not the political ideas that have attracted people to those solutions, it is the failure of the rest of the political world to address the major problems. I don't know if any of them will be in power anytime soon, the condition here is fairly unstable (it is the first time historically that the government does not have a majority in the parliament) and I believe that at this point people are polarized by the media and the crisis and vote by sentiment rather than logic.

My opinion is that most people voted far right parties for the first time in order to punish the two parties alternating in government during the last 30 years. Far right (and far left) parties' tactics to attract voters include not always clearly stating their agenda and beliefs. People vote for them because they feel their representatives closer to them as far as "resistance" to the government and EU-imposed austerity is concerned. I think that now that more things come to light about what those parties really believe in, the number of potential voters will drop.

You might want to bear in mind the fact that the media is 97 percent jewish owned worldwide. You need to read this article I think. https://odinia.org/?page_id=680
