A question for everyone: Which band or singer from your country would you recommend I listen to? Thanks! #music

A Swedish band called Stiftelsen. The song is called Vart jag än går. Another band from Sweden that's called The Knife. Maybe you've heard of them?

I'm going to recommend Mark Farina - any of the Mushroom Jazz series. If you like lounge music, it's the absolute best.

@Instragam - thanks for the tip on Genka. I listened to a few of his tracks on YouTube. 407 karaati was pretty good. Anything else of his you might recommend? By the way, you might like another Seattle group called Common Market. Check this one out: http://youtu.be/wwLXfHMqvZU

@Ijohha - I'd never heard of Ewert and the Two Dragons. Nice stuff - thanks! You might like some of these Seattle bands: http://www.soundonthesound.com/video/ . My personal favorite in all of these videos is The Head and The Heart

James Matcott - had no idea who John Butler was until I heard Better Than. Now I know! Anything in particular of his stuff you'd recommend?

Thanks everybody!

I would recommend you listen to anything by Radiohead - British music at its best!

I would recommend The Tragically Hip. They are one of Canada's greatest bands but never really broke out globally.
