Victoria, British Columbia, Canada is actually Lekwungen and WSANEC Territory; there are many many Indigenous tribes all around here - Coast Salish, Nuuchahnulth, (everywhere, really) that have beautiful, rich culture, so unique and varied. This history (current and previous history!) has been attempted at being erased through colonization, but, alas - lives on. I worked with 4 Coast Salish tribes as one of their Community Health Nurses and feel this is an important part of Canada to share!
