Here in the U.S., there's a lot of attention being paid to gay rights - especially during this Presidential election. In particular, one professional American football player has gone public about his support for gay rights, and is openly challenging politicians who are against gay rights. What is your attitude towards gay rights, and are your attitudes typical of people in your country? Thanks.
Lo poco que se del tema es que si había cierta discriminación por lo menos hace 10 años pero en los últimos 3 o 4 años la gente homosexual hizo marchas y ah peleado por sus derechos ahora se hace una marcha cada año bastante divertida y creo que en nuestro país a estas alturas la homosexualidad es mas aceptada incluso creo es mas latente la discriminación de la mujer en el ámbito laboral.
I guess there's a huge gap among cities and towns, Dundonian, there's not really a way to express such thing as a general thought towards homosexuality. I for example, as an openly gay teenager, have no problem amongst my highschool partners. However, it depends on many social-economical and geographical factors, and it can hugely oscillate.
I think that because of our culture, we won't be making that much announcements, even though we as have a huge gay community. I'm straight and have some gay friends and i think they are really cool.
