Well i am from Scotland and out of the two for me Barrack wins.During your election 2008 there was no question,not in the UK but most of the world Obama was the way forward and Bush was an idiot. Maybe the US citizens don't realize how much damage Bush did to the image of the US or Americans. Obama has done a lot and is doing well.He has inherited a destroyed economy and 2 wars.So it was never going to be easy and life was going to be hard.I think you will only be able to judge him after 6-8years. Obama is still very well regarded across the world.It is the US media that are trying to destroy him within the US. Obama has the mantle of great expectations around his shoulders.He inherited a total mess a deficit beyond anyones expectations also an international relations nightmare. Him being African American is neither here or there in terms of how i view him,but i do think its a great commentry on how far the US has come considering that laws banning racial segregation were only passed some 40 years ago.
