We've lived in Hong Kong for 2 years now. Life is pretty good over here ;-). HK has best of both worlds I think: Asian & Western. Most people we know are here on an expat contract. Cost of living (mainly housing) is very expensive! Not sure about careers if you're seeking one yourself, but I do know the international schools recruits teachers from around the world.
