A beautiful and rainy Autumn day here in Seattle. The photos are from Discovery Park where there is a Native American center. #photos #culture

Hi, Jason,

David and I love Discovery Park and go there when we can. Have you spent time at the Locks as well?

Question. How did you upload the series of photos?

Hi Sue, yes, we go to the locks quite often. The kids really enjoy that place. By the way, to upload images, just click the "Upload Image" link when you're commenting or creating a new Harnu - it's in that top right hand side of those windows. Also, there's a limit of 1Mb on the images at the moment :-(

Hi Jason,

Did you know that the #AmericanIndian Cultural Center, Day Break Star, actually was acquired through a protest by local tribes? The government was going to sell off the land because of the surplus military base there and the United Indians of All Tribes, group of activists, held a sit-in and within a few weeks they negotiated ownership of the land and that it be dedicated to #NativeAmericans.

Its wonderful place to visit if you #travel to Seattle. http://www.unitedindians.org/daybreak.html

When I taught Pre-K, I took many fieldtrips w/ preschoolers down the trails. Such a gorgeous part of our city!
