Hi Maureen!

There are four icons up top, small squares. One of the globe, one of a person, one of news and one of music. I enjoy clicking on the "person" icon and seeing who is on the site and what they are passionate about; what they want to share with the world. While you are in the "people" view (aka "user" view), you can type in a word in the empty search field to the right of the icons, for example,"coffee" and see who has interests in that subject. You can do the same in the "news" view: click on news icon and type in the empty search field a word, "human rights" and see what news comes up.

Please share the tips you find! This is a collaboratively process. :)

Hi Maureen,

Its me again; just remembered another fun trick! Go to the "people" icon (aka "user view) and then zoom out on google maps and see where Harnu users are at and click a country you have never met anyone from: i.e. Russia/Mongolia and click on the little red tac. The left side will scroll (reminds me of watching the gameshow 'Price is Right' :) and land on the user you choose. You can send him/her a message or just say hello. Everything translates so you can write English and people can read it in their own language. Cheers! Mali
