My ancestors are from Hungary and I am trying to trace back my family tree. My grandparents are from a part of Hungary that is now Romania. I know some of the records can be found in books and ledgers in churches in various towns. Do you know of any online resources that I could search that might be helpful?

This may sound like an obvious one, and apologies if so, but have you tried Ancestry.com? I used it to trace back my step-daughter's heritage to Ireland recently and was pretty successful.
